President Bola Tinubu is set to depart ABUJAH for Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, this Sunday to attend the 19th G20 Leaders Summit, scheduled for November 18th and 19th. Hosted by Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, the summit gathers leaders from the world’s largest economies to tackle critical global issues.
This year’s theme, ‘Building a Just World and a Sustainable Planet,’ will drive discussions on poverty, hunger, energy transition, and global governance reforms.
President Tinubu will also hold bilateral talks to advance Nigeria’s socio-economic goals in agriculture, energy, and infrastructure. Accompanying him are top ministers, including Yusuf Tuggar, Mukhtar Maiha, and Hannatu Musawa.
