President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in Yola, the capital of Adamawa State, to express his condolences to Ahmed Joda’s family, government, and people. Ahmed Joda died on Friday, August 13.
The President was met by the State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, when he arrived at Yola International Airport at 09:45 GMT.
Shortly after arriving, the President went to the palace of Muhammadu Barkindo Musdafa, the Lamido of Adamawa, to pay homage.
