With more than 280,000 votes, Obi wins Imo. Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party, has been proclaimed the victor of the Plateau State election last Saturday by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

With a vote total of 466 722, he defeated Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who received 307 195 votes.
Atiku Abubakar, the PDP’s presidential candidate, received 243,808 votes, while Rabiu Kwankwaso of the NNPP received 8,860 votes.

APC – 307,195
LP – 466,272
NNPP – 8869
PDP – 243,808
