In the upcoming general elections, President Muhammadu Buhari has urged Nigerians to cast their votes for the candidate of their choice.
Buhari urged voters to cast ballots without hesitation.
In a speech to Nigerians that was broadcast across the country, Buhari promised to protect voters during the election.
He also urged Nigerians to abstain from acts of violence and other conduct that might sabotage the election.

Buhari stated: “I therefore urge every citizen to cast their ballot for the candidates of their choice without hesitation because security will be in place and your vote will be counted.
“However, I urge you to shun violence and abstain from actions that could scuttle the electoral process. I hope the general election goes well for everyone.
