The Labour Party State Executive Council of Rivers State has been disbanded immediately by Julius Abure, the LP’s national chairman, for flagrant anti-party behaviour and managerial corruption.
The chairman believes that it is in the best interests of the Labour Party and the Obedient movement in Rivers State that those who were in charge of affairs in Rivers State when our presidential mandate was openly stolen in the State step aside until a thorough investigation is finished, according to a statement released on Tuesday by the party spokesman, Kenneth Okonkwo.
