Alhaji Kamilu Ado Isa, the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) candidate for the Wudil/Garko House of Representatives Constituency, has passed away.
Following a brief illness, Isa, a former Assistant Comptroller General of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), passed away on Monday.
Four days before the general elections for the Senate, House of Representatives, and the presidency, he passed away.

Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, a presidential candidate for the NNPP, expressed his condolences to his family and referred to his passing as shocking and a huge void that cannot be filled.
According to him, the candidate devoted all of his time, resources, and efforts to the party’s and his local community’s success while pleading with God Almighty to pardon his flaws.

“I am saddened by the passing of Hon. Kamilu Ado Isah, the NNPP candidate for the Wudil/Garko constituency in the House of Representatives.
“May the All-Powerful Allah pardon his transgressions and give him eternal peace. He added, “My sympathy to his family, friends, and the NNPP Kano Chapter.
In Kano, the deceased was interred using Islamic customs.
