APC pastor under fire over ‘genocidal’ comments against Igbos

Godwin Ikuru, a self-styled prophet and member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has come under fire from Aloy Ejimakor, the special counsel of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the banned Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

Ikuru reportedly threatened Igbos living in Lagos, telling them to pack their bags and leave Lagos in order to vote Peter Obi of the Labour Party, in a viral video that was reportedly shot after the February 25 presidential election.

“Since you maliciously voted for Obi, all you Igbos in Alaba, Idumota, and Lagos, just pack your bags and leave Lagos,” was the message. I’m merely communicating with the nation. Let me say that I still consider myself to be prophet Godwin if you engage in games against our movement. You better know what you’re doing because without Asiwaju, there won’t be a president, there won’t be one in the future, and Peter Obi won’t be.

“Only Asiwaju can lead Nigeria into the future and change the course of this nation. Pack your belongings and leave Lagos, all Igbos who cast votes for Peter Obi in Lagos, and all pastors that spoke out against Asiwaju in Lagos. Ikuru had reportedly shouted in the video, “Go. Lagos is not your land.
Ejimakor responded by warning Tinubu that he “may be held liable for any carnage that happens” if he fails to condemn Ikuru’s threat.

Hello @officialABAT, in this video, a man threatens to kill Igbo people in Lagos for supporting @PeterObi. You can be held accountable for any bloodshed that occurs if you don’t disclaim him. Also, as @MBuhari once said, “baboons & dogs may bath in their blood,” Ejimakor wrote on his well-known Twitter account with an accompanying video.
