While other political parties and their candidates also needed money to run their campaigns and were equally impacted by the Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) policy, Senator Adesoji Akanbi, a senior member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and close ally of the party’s presidential candidate for the 2023 election, has claimed that the ruling party’s candidate may win swing votes as a result.
According to the APC leader, Tinubu’s “imminent victory” was demonstrated by the crowds at the recent presidential campaign rallies, despite the fact that a lack of money was frustrating the general public.

“The person they were aiming for, Asiwaju, might end up benefiting. Many people are beginning to understand that he is solely to blame. People will vote with their hearts because they think he is being singled out and because he openly expressed his opposition to the policy. For him, that will be like a bonus, Akanbi said.
