Ahmed Wadada, a senator-elect for the Social Democratic Party (SDP), has been chosen by the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) to oversee the caucus in the 10th National Assembly.
The appointment is detailed in a letter that Shehu Gabam, the party’s national chairman, and Olu Agunloye, the party’s national secretary, both signed on Saturday in Abuja.

In the 10th Assembly, Mr. Wadada will represent the Nasarawa-West Senatorial District.

“The SDP NWC, at its meeting, decided to appoint you to lead and coordinate the caucus of all SDP members elected to serve in the national and state assemblies throughout the country,” the letter reads.

The goal of this is to unite all elected Social Democratic Party members around the cause of advancing the party’s unity and ideals.

The assembly members who make up the top echelons of our great party can expect the caucus to have a significant positive impact on both groups.
