The Nigeria Police Force has arrested an unidentified officer who was caught abusing naira in a widely shared video featuring Wahab and Raheem, the sons of billionaire businessman Chief Razaq Okoya.
On Friday, Force Public Relations Officer Olumuyiwa Adejobi revealed this on his X account.
He claimed that the police officer’s behavior in the video was unethical and against the force’s standards, and he emphasized that disciplinary action was being taken to address the transgression.
Adejobi wrote: “The police officer who was shown mistreating naira in the recently circulated video that the sons of Lagos businessman Chief Okoya released has been identified and placed under disciplinary arrest.
It has been declared unethical for the cop to have been involved. Upholding the police’s integrity, credibility, and fundamental principles will always be our first priority. Regards.

Remember how the video of the two Okoya boys mistreating naira last week sparked a lot of outrage? Many people thought that since their father was a national hero, nothing would happen to them.
Wahab and Raheem Okoya are shown in the video wearing white agbada attire and showing off stacks of fresh N1000 notes in support of the latter’s brand-new song, “Credit Alert.”
The video went on to show the mobile police officer carrying bundles of N1000 notes as the billionaire’s sons danced and threw the money into the air.
