Police says there will be no attack on Boss Mustapha’s hometown

Boko Haram insurgents and bandits attacked Dabna and Kwabre Villages in Dugwaba District of Hong Local Government Area, the hometown of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, according to an online report.

DSP Sulaiman Nguroje, the state’s police spokesman, claimed that the report was false. He claimed that as a result of alleged attacks, the residents of Dabna and Kwabre villages had fled their homes. The SGF is a native of the area.

The District Head echoed the police’s statement, saying that people were living peacefully in the villages and celebrating Christmas.

He said he received reports from all of the villages mentioned in the online report indicating that people were going about their daily lives without being bothered.
