Police remained silent over death of Vanguard reporter

Tordue Henry Salem, a Vanguard reporter who had been missing for over a month, was discovered dead in Abuja on Thursday.

The circumstances surrounding the discovery of his remains remained hazy.

When contacted, the Force Public Relations Officer, CP Frank Mba, refused to comment on the development, saying, “I can’t say anything on the matter.”
Late Salem was last seen on October 13, 2021, while covering the House of Representatives.

After work that day, he was said to have gotten out of a cab near the Force headquarters and driven to B.J’s Garden with a female relative.
