The suspect is accused of killing Miss Ifeoluwa Adekalu, a single mother, according to the CP, who was recently elevated to the position of Assistant Inspector General of Police.
The act was carried out at the Okela police post in Ado Ekiti on Thursday afternoon by the suspect, who is reportedly a member of the Nigeria Police Force’s Special Unit, Rapid Response Squad (RRS) Ekiti State Command.
When the young nursing mother passed away too soon, it was discovered that she was returning from a location where she had gone to pay the rent on her new home.

After being taken to the hospital, the woman was pronounced dead.
According to the Nigerian Police Act, the officer would be questioned, Adeniran stated.
Ondo State native Ifeoluwa Adekalu, who passed away as a young woman, worked hard in Ado Ekiti as a station attendant at BOVAS Petrol Station on Bank Road and as a hotel worker at Delight, Midas, and Prosperous Hotels in Ado Ekiti, among other places, in an effort to make ends meet.
