Around 9.45 a.m. on Monday, Sowore, his attorney, and a few supporters arrived to the police headquarters.
After recording a video that went viral and exposed alleged extortion by police officers on Lagos’s Murtala Muhammed International Airport Access Road, Sowore was called in for interrogation by the Nigeria Police Force.
On behalf of the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Force Intelligence Department (FID), CP Ibitoye Rufus Alajide signed the invitation, which was dated January 23, 2025.
