According to a statement released by the Criminal Investigation Department of the Nigeria Police Force in Alagbon, Lagos, the agency has made a number of arrests in connection with the alleged attempt to kidnap Tiwa Savage.
CSP Oluniyi Ogundeyi, the department’s spokesperson, confirmed this information to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos, Nigeria, the day before yesterday.
According to NAN, the information regarding the failed attempt to kidnap the musician first surfaced on Friday through various forms of social media.
According to the reports, the musician was protected from the potential attackers by both her own private security vigilance and the Nigerian Police.
It was discovered that Savage’s new domestic staff, who had been trusted with vital information about her, were allegedly the ones who planned the failed plot.
The domestic staff allegedly followed the singer as she left her home and shared the information with other members of the alleged kidnapping gang, according to some sources. “Yes, we have some suspects, and they are currently in our custody,” the officer responded. The spokesperson estimated that they were around four years old.
