Former Vice Presidential candidate, Peter Obi, on Friday, attended the funeral of parents of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.
Also at the funeral service on Friday held at St. Andrews Anglican Church, Afaraukwu, Abia were Senators Enyinnaya Abaribe and Victor Umeh.
Traditional rulers from across the Southsouth and Southeast regions were in attendance to pay their last respect to the monarch, Israel Kanu and his wife, Ugoeze Sally.
They include monarchs from Okpobo, Nembe and Ogoni in Rivers State; Ijaw, Isoko and Kwale in Delta state.
Others were top traditional rulers from Cross River and Akwa Ibom States.
