PDP suspends National Chairman, Uche Secondus

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Rivers State Chapter, has suspended Uche Secondus, the party’s national chairman.

The PDP Ward 5 in Ikuru town, Andoni Local Government Area of Rivers State, suspended Secondus.

This was reportedly announced by the party’s ward chairman, George Christopher, at a meeting held at the party’s secretariat in Ikuru.

The suspension of the embattled National chirman was endorsed and approved by 11 of the 17 executive members.

“On the 31st of August, 2021, the Ward executive of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ward 5, Ikuru town, and the leaders met to discuss issues that affect the party,” Christopher said.

“Prince Uche Secondus was suspended by the Ward executive following a duly convened Ward meeting called by the Secretary on the Chairman’s instructions, in accordance with the Constitution of our great party.”

“Our brother, Prince Uche Secondus, has been suspended until further notice.”
