The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has been charged with entering inaccurate data when transferring the results of the 2023 presidential election to their server, according to the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) Presidential Campaign Council. Dino Melaye, a spokesperson for the PDP on the PCC, stated that the party would reveal any improper or illegal INEC behavior involving the data transfer from the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System to the commission’s backend server.
On Monday, March 13, at 2:22 p.m., Melaye tweeted that the PDP, the opposition party’s leadership, and its members would surprise INEC and its ICT department.
The former Kogi state lawmaker also threatened to sentence election officials for the handling of the recent elections on Saturday, February 25.
Melaye tweeted: “INEC is doing the wrong thing, wrong imputation going on. We will expose any wrong imputation and figures changing as upload and backend transfer is going on. We will shock INEC and the ICT department.
