Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi Refutes Claims of His Death

0

Legendary singer, Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi, has angrily refuted the claims of his death, reminding his followers that he is alive, healthy, and in excellent spirits.
Obey-Fabiyi responded to the untrue allegations in a video released Tuesday morning with a dynamic performance that made it clear that he was doing well.
Known for his fluency in Yoruba, English, and Pidgin, the artist boldly denied the allegations while singing in his distinctive way, “Hello, my name is Professor Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi.” Satan, you don’t lose o. You don’t lose o, Satan. You chat, you don’t wear pafuka, and you lie.

“It is fake news that started a few hours ago claiming that I, Evangelist Obey, have passed on to glory,” Obey-Fabiyi continued to refute the rumor. It is a falsehood. That is not what Jesus wrote, yet I am living.
It was understood that the music legend’s fans expressed their sorrow after the rumor of his passing spread on Monday. Many people expressed their sadness on social media as soon as the news went viral.

However, Obey-Fabiyi’s assistant, Tope Olukole, soon stepped in to put the record straight.

In an interview with TVC on Monday evening, Olukole affirmed that the musician was in good health and had not passed away.

“Let’s set the record straight: Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi is alive and thriving! Olukole expressed relief at seeing his boss active and in a good mood, saying, “He recently celebrated a joyous occasion — the 50th birthday of his second child’s spouse.”

“Rumours of his passing are baseless and entirely unfounded. We’re happy to see him healthy and active,” Olukole continued.

Only a month after Obey-Fabiyi’s 83rd birthday, which was warmly and joyously celebrated by his family and supporters, the death fake arose.

The Vatican claims that the cleric was hospitalized for five weeks earlier this year due to double pneumonia, after which he suffered a stroke, went into a coma, and finally suffered from “irreversible cardiocirculatory collapse.”

Prior to a conclave next month to choose a new leader of the Roman Catholic Church, cardinals will gather on Tuesday to organize his funeral, which will be attended by world leaders.

Coalition: Is Buhari a PDP Member? Bode George Tackles Atiku

0

Atiku Abubakar, the PDP’s 2023 presidential candidate, has drawn criticism from former Deputy National Chairman Bode George for his visit to former President Muhammadu Buhari.
As you may remember, Atiku paid Buhari a visit at his home in Kaduna during a visit with former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai and former Sokoto State Governor Aminu Tambuwal.
Atiku made it clear, though, that the visit was mainly for Sallah festivities and had nothing to do with any talks on the proposed political party alliance that would strengthen the opposition.
George denounced the visit in an exclusive interview, stating that Atiku has no business with Buhari.

He chastised Atiku for thinking about merging after gaining advantages from the PDP. “The PDP is the only party in the country with a proper structure,” he said, insisting that other parties join it.

They visited Baba Buhari, George claimed. Has Buhari joined the PDP? Beyond the fact that they are from the same area, what connection do Atiku, his crew, and Buhari have?

What’s the main idea? The benefit of our festivity was to you. You’re referring to Mega. Your party hasn’t heard about the mega.

As the sole political party in this nation, the Oak Tree is known as the Iroko Tree in Yoruba territory. You are spreading the word that you ought to throw a huge celebration. Come on over and join us.

In this country, we are the only political party. I am challenging anyone with structures.

“National structure, state structure, and zonal structure are what I mean by structure. The national treasurer, national secretary, national women leader, and youth leader are all examples of what I mean.

The APC’s national secretary, national treasurer, and national organizing secretary are all identified. Each of these structures.

And if you find one person, you will find nobody in every state. The owner is a single person. Atiku is engaging in self-aggrandizing behavior. Are you searching for anything under Baba Buhari? Does he belong to our party?

Police Launch Investigation Into Senator Natasha’s Claims Against Akpabio

A special team has been tasked by Inspector-General of Police Kayode Egbetokun to investigate the serious charges made against Senate President Godswill Akpabio by Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.
Akpabio and former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello were allegedly accused by Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan of conspiring to kill her.
Akpabio replied by sending a petition to the IGP on April 3rd, copying the Attorney General of the Federation and Justice Minister, Lateef Fagbemi.

The president of the Senate called the senator’s remarks “defamatory” and urged the government to take legal action to protect him and maintain peace.

The IGP has already taken action on the petition, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Force Public Relations Officer, confirmed the situation to The Nation.
Yes, Godswill Akpabio, the president of the Senate, has sent us the petition. “A team has been instructed by the IGP to look into it,” Adejobi said.

During a homecoming speech to her supporters on April 1, the senator made the accusations, claiming that the purported plot to remove her was the result of an unsuccessful attempt to recall her from the Senate.

Before making her charges public, she informed the audience that she had previously filed an official complaint with the police.

According to Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan, “Remember, two days prior to that, Akpabio had called Governor Ododo to start my recall, but Ododo informed him it would not be possible.” This was stated on March 13 at 10:00 p.m. Since everyone is on my side, Ododo assured Akpabio that the recall would not be possible. Akpabio called Yahaya Bello because he was not happy. I was told everything.

There were two purposes for the meeting. They instructed him to start my recall and promised to provide the funding. He said he should try to kill me as his second statement. I have written to the Inspector General of Police, but I have not made this public.

According to the senator, “Akpabio told Yahaya Bello that he should make sure that killing me does not happen in Abuja, that it should happen here so that it will look like it was the people that killed me here.”

Joke Silva Opens Up on Father’s Opposition to Her Marriage with Olu Jacobs

Due to their 19-year age difference, veteran Nollywood actress Joke Silva has claimed that her father disapproved of her marriage to Olu Jacobs.
A recent interview on the Stephen Akintayo Leadership podcast was said to be when the actor revealed this.
According to Silva, she first met Jacobs while she was looking for advice in her early acting career. Her sister gave the movie star her blessing, stating, “Joke, this is the man to take to daddy.”

Despite their tight bond, the movie star revealed that her mother supported their union even though her father first objected to it because of their age difference.

The renowned 63-year-old actor claimed that their bond grew stronger when Jacobs, who was already well-known, urged her to seek formal theatrical training rather than a degree in theater arts from college.
Silva claimed that she fell in love with her husband and, in order to preserve her reputation, Jacobs suggested that she keep her maiden name after marriage.

Back in 1984, I believe, I had returned home when one of my sisters was home. When we first met, she pulled me aside and told me, “Joke, you should take this man to Daddy.” Olawoye was Toyin.

“My mother said, ‘This is the person they know me with,’ but my dad had problems with his age. That was also the age difference between her parents. Thus, it wasn’t a huge moment.

The person who suggested that I keep my current name was Jacobs. Given his understanding of the significance of branding, he stated that my brand had already begun to take shape before our meeting and that altering it might cause me issues.

Within the brand, no one was unaware that I was Mrs. Jacobs, so we retained the name Joke Silva.

The song was classified as “inappropriate, and offensive” by the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) in a report signed by Susan Obi, the organization’s Coordinating Director of Broadcast Monitoring.
