My People Are Living in Perpetual Fear – Senator Ndume Raises Alarm

0

To protect Kirawa and other nearby areas that border the Cameroun Republic and the Gwoza local government area, Senator Ali Ndume, who represents Borno South, has urged military officials to send troops.
Following Friday’s Boko Haram attack along the Kirawa-Pulka route at approximately 3 p.m., which resulted in the death of one Civilian Joint Task Force (Name withheld) and numerous injuries to drivers and passengers, he made this plea.

In response to the event that occurred in his district, Ndume bemoaned the lack of a military presence in Kirawa on Saturday morning. He also mentioned that the few tenacious hunters, vigilantes, and members of the Civilian Joint Task Force are always overburdened with the task of protecting the area.

“It was very discouraging to hear that some armed Boko Haram terrorists ambushed drivers and passengers along Kirawa-Pulka road yesterday,” he said. A few members of the Civilian Joint Task Force escorted the victims because there was no military escort available because Camerounian forces stationed in Kirawa were dislodged last month.

Many people are still missing as I write this, and regrettably, one of our Brave Civilian Joint Task Force members was murdered during the gunfight in the ambush. The incident resulted in the burning of at least six vehicles, including three lorries, a bus, and two Golf Volkswagen Saloons.

The families of the fallen Civilian Joint Task Force members have my condolences. As we offer prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured and the safety of the unaccounted-for, may his soul rest in peace.

“Let me also urge the military authorities to send troops, even if it is just a platoon, to protect Kirawa and its citizens, as my people are now constantly afraid after Camerounian troops based there were driven out last month.”

I Was Just Playing Around, I Can’t Sleep With 100 Men in 24 Hours – Mandy Kiss Backtracks

0

In a video posted to her Instagram page, the outspoken personality reportedly claimed that the revelation was merely a ploy to resurrect her online reputation.

She clarified that she had the idea because she wanted to draw more attention to her idle social media profile and increase participation.

She claims that the action was not intended to carry out the contentious act but rather to attract followers and possible sponsors in order to generate revenue.

Mandy Kiss stated that she is incapable of carrying out such an act and that she never intended to complete the challenge.

In addition, she warned Nigerians not to take the statement too seriously, citing her lack of resources and legal counsel as well as her fear of legal issues.

She stated: “Me Oh, I was kidding! Get arrested, huh? What’s in my account? I can’t afford a lawyer, sef. I’m not even able to write a statement. Me. I had recently gotten a cruise. I simply wanted to see if I was still relevant. I decided to see if I could get some engagement on my page so I could get some advertisements to complete and earn some money because everything on it was dry. I can’t sleep with a hundred men. Oh, please, Nigerians. Prison is the last thing I want! I’m going to die if I sleep with 100 guys! Oh, please!

“Shame on All of You” – Israel’s Netanyahu Attacks UNGA Leaders on Palestine Issue

0

The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) was filled with jeers on Friday as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu criticized nations that had just voted to recognize Palestine as a state.
During his speech, Netanyahu reportedly denounced nations that have chosen to accept Palestinian independence, calling their actions “shameful, sheer madness, and insane.”

Such measures, he contended, would only give terrorism more confidence worldwide.

However, his remarks caused some audience members to disagree, leading to a walkout by several of the delegates. The protest went on until a UN representative had to request silence before the Israeli prime minister could continue.

According to Netanyahu, acknowledging Palestinian statehood would be equivalent to supporting terrorism against Jews and innocent people everywhere.

After Hamas’ October 7 attack, Netanyahu likened the quest for Palestinian statehood to the offer made to al Qaeda for a state close to New York City following the September 11 attacks.

Israel would not permit countries to “shove a terror state” down their throats, Netanyahu declared.

“Terrorism against Jews and innocent people worldwide will be encouraged by your shameful choice. It will be a disgrace to all of you.

Intolerant zealots who carried out and encouraged the Sabbath massacre are receiving the ultimate reward as a result of your actions.

“It would be equivalent to giving al Qaeda a state one mile from New York City after September 11 if the Palestinians were granted a state one mile from Jerusalem after October 7.”

Because you lack the will to confront hostile media and antisemitic mobs calling for Israel’s blood, he declared, “We will not commit national suicide.”

World leaders are being influenced by “biased media, radical Islamist constituencies, and anti-Semitic mobs,” the Israeli prime minister continued, denouncing the war in Gaza.

‘Alia Can’t Stooping Low to Abduct Someone’ – Benue Gov’s Spokesperson Responds to VDM

0

Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia’s Principal Special Assistant on Youth and Media Mobilization, Atu Terver, has responded to a claim made against him by social media activist and critic Martin Vincent Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, VDM.

A car dealer allegedly vanished following a N1.2 billion transaction with the Benue Government, according to a video that VDM shared on his Facebook page on Friday.

The critic claims that the Benue government failed to pay the suspected missing dealer N1.2 billion for nine automobiles.

“To the executive governor of Benue State, the car dealer for whom your government owes 1.2 billion naira for nine vehicles that your government seized appears to have vanished.”

He informed me during our most recent conversation that he had been summoned to a meeting in an Abuja hotel by one of your cabinet members.

“Please release him if you are holding him, Rev. Fr. Alia. On his Facebook site, VDM posted a video that went viral with the question, “What is his crime?”

The governor cannot “stoop as low as abducting someone,” according to Atu, also known as Krayzeetee, who refuted the abduction implication in a comment beneath the article.

Many people won’t agree with me because, as he remarked, “a lot of things here don’t actually add up but it’s dragging a governor.”

“You mentioned that he was called by a cabinet member, but who is that cabinet member? And what about the number he called?

You mentioned the previous day that other government officials were urging him to make a payment without naming anyone.

You should learn a lot from Ahmed Isah of the Berekete family, in my opinion. He would have tried to get in touch with the governor if this situation had been brought to his attention, but he didn’t. You’ll be fine as long as it generates traffic and a lot of comments criticizing the governor.

“As a devout man, Governor Alia is incapable of descending to the level of kidnapping someone. Always get in touch with both parties before taking action in the pursuit of justice.

Just let me give you some advice. If you have followers, you are not God.

Ogun Monarch Seeks Arrest of Mandy Kiss Over Viral Marathon Sex Statement

0

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has been urged by Oba Akintunde Akinyemi, the Eselu of Iselu Kingdom in Yewa North LGA of Ogun State, to order the arrest of Ayomiposi Oluwadahunsi, also known as Mandy Kiss, a social media influencer and content creator, for her intentions to engage in a 24-hour marathon sex.

The Guinness World Record (GWR) for the most sexual partners in a single day was reportedly something Mandy Kiss had declared she intended to try to achieve.
Mandy Kiss revealed that the effort is set to start on October 30, 2025, in an Instagram post on Monday that included a flyer with the GWR emblem.

Although a precise location was not mentioned, the flyer, which she posted with her Instagram followers, stated that she wanted to interact with “100 men” in the Ikorodu neighborhood of Lagos in a 24-hour period.

In response, the Guinness World Record stated in a promotional flier posted on X by @Naija_PR that their organization does not keep track of such records.

The content creator revealed plans to proceed in spite of the denial, nevertheless.

In an open letter published on Friday, the Eselu of Iselu Kingdom condemned Mandy Kiss’ actions, calling them shameful for her parents, the state, the local administration, and the country as a whole.

“Mr. Governor, it is disheartening to see a Yoruba girl from my dear state, Ogun State, who goes by the social media handle “Mandy Kiss,” preparing to humiliate her parents, local government area, and state in front of the world for her willingness to have sex with 100 boys/men in twenty-four (24) hours in Ikorodu, Lagos State on September 30, 2025, with the goal of adding her name to the Guinness World Records (GWR).”

In my opinion, the woman in issue is unaware of the implications of what she is doing. She will not undertake the planned nasty incident if she is aware of it. Is she capable of surviving what she intends to do? I have no doubt that if the rude woman dies as a result of the foolishness she is preparing, Nigerian police officers would begin arresting boys and men in Ikorodu.

“The best course of action is to arrest the woman who is currently causing a public nuisance.” She is adamant that she will carry out her plan even though the Guinness World Records (GWR) rejected her shameful proposal.

Her behavior also suggests that she is mentally unstable, according to the First Class Monarch, who recommended she should be tested for drugs.

“Your Excellency, Lagos State is both your home state and the home state of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Nigeria. Therefore, it is unacceptable for “Mandy Kiss,” whose demeanor portrays her as mentally unstable, to defame the reputation Lagos State has earned over the years.

“Let me also suggest that after Mandy Kiss is arrested, she should be returned to her parents in Ogun State, where my tough-minded governor, Prince Dapo ABIODUN, will order her to be put back in custody so that she can be taken to a mental health facility or rehabilitation center to get her insanity treated.”

Last but not least, I would like to caution the Lagos State Government to think about asking the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to invite Mandy Kiss for a drug test because her egregious behavior is clearly indicating that she might be under the influence of drugs….

His persistent emphasis on the need for the federal government to regulate youth behavior, especially on social media, was based on the fact that unethical behavior may increase the number of youth engaging in social vices.

Breaking: Tinubu Tells Nigerians: ‘Your Suffering Is A Pain Of Painful Surgery’

0

Assuring Nigerians that the worst is behind them and that prosperity is on the horizon, President Bola Tinubu on Friday likened the suffering they are going through to the agony of an economic operation.
At the coronation of Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland, Tinubu reportedly made the assurance at Mapo Hall in Ibadan.

While still weak, the country’s economy is recovering from the catastrophe, the president told inhabitants and dignitaries.

I’m honored and happy to share the good news that the economy has turned around with many of you in attendance today. According to Tinubu, there is a bright light at the end of the tunnel.

According to him, Nigerians’ pain is a necessary sacrifice.

“Your anguish is a pain, a harsh surgical procedure. It has now returned to the time of progress and prosperity that lies ahead of us. I appreciate your persistence. I appreciate your understanding and your perseverance,” he continued.

Along with Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, the President arrived at the location at 2:28 p.m.

He was accompanied by a number of Federal Executive Council (FEC) members as well as the governors of Ondo, Osun, and Ekiti states.

The traditional Akoko leaf was previously given to Tinubu as part of the coronation ceremonies at the Labosinde Compound in Oja’ba, Ibadan.

Former Oyo State Governor Oba Ladoja took over as governor after the 43rd Olubadan, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, died on July 7, 2025, after just one year in office.

Nearly three months after Olakulehin’s passing, a number of dignitaries, political figures, and royal fathers traveled from all around the nation to attend the ceremony on Friday.

Among those present were traditional leaders such as Alhaji Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar III, the Sultan of Sokoto; Oba Akeem Owoade, the Alaafin of Oyo; Oba Ghandi Adeoye, the Soun of Ogbomoso; Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi, the Oluwo of Iwo; and Oba Fredrick Obateru Akinruntan, the Olugbo of Ugbo Kingdom.

State legislators, senators, members of the House of Representatives, and former governors were also in attendance.

Olubadan to Tinubu: Meeting My People’s Needs Is the Priority

0

During his coronation ceremony, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, the 44th Olubadan, called for the establishment of the state of Ibadan.
According to reports, former Kano State Governor Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, former Osun State Governor Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, former Ekiti State Governor Kayode Fayemi, former Cross River State Governor Donald Duke, and Sultan of Sokoto Alhaji Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar III attended the coronation ceremony.

Speaking to the people of Ibadan after being given the staff of office by Governor Seyi Makinde, Ladoja said that the people’s top priority was for President Bola Tinubu to create Ibadan State before 2027.

“My people sent me a message to Mr President,” the monarch declared in Yoruba. They stated that the establishment of Ibadan State is their top objective, Mr. President.

In the meantime, Oba Tajudeen Ajibola, the Balogun of Ibadan-designate, has clarified why Oba Rashidi Ladoja, the Olubadan-designate, will be crowned in a civilized and orderly manner.

In contrast to the disputes that followed the rise of the late Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, Ajibola told Punch on Thursday that the events preceding Ladoja’s accession to the throne had brought the kingmakers together.

When Oba Olakulehin was being chosen, Ajibola, who was Otun Balogun at the time, recounted that he had resisted the procedure, arguing that the late king should be given more time to become suitable for the throne.

Mass Sack at Dangote Refinery: Management Explains Reason, Downplays Impact

0

Dangote Refinery has verified that the dismissal of numerous Nigerian employees who joined the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association (PENGASSAN) has had a little impact on workers.
According to reports, Dangote Refinery fired all of its Nigerian employees less than twenty-four hours after ninety percent of them joined the PENGASSAN.

The personnel were fired for repeated acts of sabotage that have impacted operational efficiency and caused safety issues, the company stated in a statement posted on its 𝕏 account on Friday.

According to the petroleum refinery, despite the current reorganization, more than 3,000 Nigerians are still employed by the corporation.

“The Dangote Petroleum Refinery wishes to clarify recent reports concerning the ongoing reorganization within its facility,” the statement said. This is not an arbitrary exercise. The refinery has to be protected from recurring acts of sabotage that have compromised operational efficiency and generated safety concerns.

The aforementioned decision was made in the refinery’s best interest due to sporadic instances of sabotage in its various units, which had serious safety implications and detrimental effects on human life.

“We continue to be aware of our internal processes and weaknesses in order to guarantee the long-term stability of this vital national resource. Protecting the refinery is essential for the benefit of Nigerians, our African partners, and the thousands of people whose livelihoods depend on it.

At the moment, more than 3,000 Nigerians are still employed full-time at our petroleum refinery. Since we are still hiring, just a very tiny percentage of our team was impacted.

Through our numerous graduate trainee programs and skilled hiring procedure, we are able to find Nigerian talent.

The freedom of every worker to choose whether or not to join a union is one of the globally recognized labor values that we acknowledge and respect. Our dedication to the rights of workers is unshakeable.

“Africa’s energy independence is strengthened, good, long-term jobs are created, and Nigerians are served by the Dangote Petroleum Refinery. We will keep collaborating with our stakeholders, employees, and regulators to maintain the greatest levels of accountability, transparency, and safety.

Umo Eno Under Fire for Presenting SUVs to Former Akwa Ibom Deputies

0

Following his announcement that he gave brand-new Land Cruiser SUVs to all of the state’s past deputy governors, Pastor Umo Eno, the governor of Akwa Ibom State, has come under fire.
In addition to sharing pictures of the cars and the recipients, the governor reportedly made the news on Thursday night on his official 𝕏 page.

I gave brand-new Land Cruisers to all of the former Deputy Governors of Akwa Ibom State as a thank you for their commitment and years of service,” he wrote.

It is only fitting that they feel comfortable as they continue to impart their knowledge to us, since their commitment has contributed to the advancement of our State. I am grateful for your assistance.

Online responses to the gesture, which he explained was a thank-you gift for the former deputy governors’ years of service, were swiftly conflicting.

View responses below:

“Real question: does this make life better for the average person in your state?” asked Alabi Lawrence.

According to Ovoke, retired civil servants who served for 36 years are still receiving their salaries and pensions, while former deputy governors who served for 4–8 years are receiving brand-new Land Cruisers for their year of elected duty.
Nothing at all!

“You give former deputy governors brand-new land cruisers,” said the actual pee. First of all, when they were in office, past deputy governors had cars. They were given a project, which undoubtedly brought in additional funds. You decided it would be prudent to offer them new cars even if, if I’m not mistaken, they are receiving pensions. How have you addressed the state’s unemployment problem? What about Udom’s original syringe industry? Have you ever considered starting a business or bringing one? The political class is the beginning and the end of all your labor. This was an error in governance.

Grok Mr.: “This one act has disgustingly let me down. You must return these cars and offer your citizens an apology. There are many of the nation’s most vulnerable impoverished people in your state. To feed and export the excess, use this money to establish small-scale food companies and hire the underprivileged to manage them.

Mylesmonrel: “That gesture isn’t really good. Are you not working on other projects? Will you improve your people’s life via pensions, gratuities, simple initiatives, like building schools, roads, and hospitals? Naturally, you wish to buy their support for your plan for the upcoming term.

Dee: “The same individuals who did nothing while in office continue to purchase Land Cruisers with taxpayer funds after their tenure is over.” For their services, how many civil personnel have received awards?

“I strongly condemn this costly gift of brand-new Land Cruisers to former Deputy Governors,” said Yemtech. The usage of governmental resources is seriously called into question by this. Did this expense have a budget? Did any deputies complain about a shortage of cars?

“You have the audacity to post it after using public funds to purchase cars for deputy governors whose pensions are worth more than the pension of a civil servant with 35 years of service,” said Eghosa Igbins. For anything may happen in Nigeria without politicians being held accountable.

The Rise of a New Era: Shaping a Fresh Political Order

0

By comr Vincent otse.
The landscape of politics has undergone a significant transformation in recent years. Gone are the days when politicians could promise the moon and stars to garner votes, only to forget their commitments once in office. We have entered a new era, where constituents are more informed, discerning, and demanding of accountability. The electorate has shifted its focus from mere promises to tangible contributions and positive impacts on the community.
THE OLD ERA: A TIME OF BROKEN PROMISES
In the past, politicians would often make grand promises to win the hearts and minds of voters. These promises would be sweeping and ambitious, designed to appeal to the masses and secure their votes. However, once elected, these same politicians would often forget their commitments, leaving their constituents disillusioned and disappointed. This lack of accountability and follow-through on promises led to widespread discontent and mistrust of politicians.
THE NEW ERA: A FOCUS ON IMPACT
In contrast, the new era of politics is characterized by a focus on tangible contributions and positive impacts on the community. Voters are no longer swayed by empty promises, but instead, they look for evidence of a politician’s ability to deliver real results. This shift in focus has led to a more informed and discerning electorate, where politicians are held to a higher standard of accountability.
KEY FEATURES OF THE NEW ERA
The new era of politics is marked by several key features, including:
ACCOUNTABILITY: Politicians are expected to deliver on their promises and be transparent in their actions.
PERFORMANCE-BASED LEADERSHIP: Politicians are judged on their achievements and the positive changes they bring to the community.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: There is a greater emphasis on understanding the needs and concerns of the community and addressing them effectively.
INFORMED DECISION-MAKING: Constituents are more aware of the issues and make informed decisions when voting, rather than relying solely on promises.
THE IMPACT OF THE NEW ERA
The new era of politics has had a profound impact on the way politicians operate. It has led to a more responsive and responsible form of leadership, where politicians are held to a higher standard and are expected to make a positive impact on their communities. This shift has also led to a greater emphasis on transparency and accountability, with politicians being held responsible for their actions and decisions.
CONCLUSION
In conclusion, we have indeed entered a new era of politics, one that is characterized by a focus on tangible contributions and positive impacts on the community. This shift has led to a more informed and discerning electorate, where politicians are held to a higher standard of accountability. As we move forward, it is essential that politicians continue to prioritize the needs and concerns of their constituents, delivering real results and making a positive difference in their communities. Only then can we build a brighter future for ourselves and for generations to come.
