“I went around checking the route for the Vice President’s inauguration tomorrow and am confident that we are prepared.”
“With the exception of the Ministry of Works, the secretariat is a very complex one, sitting on 45,000 square meters, which is quite large, and it’s designed to house all of the ministries and their staff.”
“It’s so interconnected with so many things that it has a banking hall, restaurants, a creche, and even a clinic that could act as a mini-hospital.”
The new secretariat is internet-enabled throughout and is powered by an Independent Power Plant, which also serves other government offices. That means we have power 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
“We also have meeting rooms, and all of the ministries are linked.”
“A full facility manager is already in the works, with other sub managers in charge of security, cleanliness, and environmental sanitation.
The Governor also announced that the Vice President would inaugurate the 8.5 megawatt Independent Power Project in the state capital on the same day.
