The 16th freshly posted State Commandant, Commandant Muhammad Kabiru Ingawa, has been formally received by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC, Jigawa State Command.
The Command Spokesman, ASC Badruddeen Tijjani Mahmud, signed a statement that said as much.
According to him, Commandant Ingawa, a native of Ingawa, Katsina State, is a seasoned officer with extensive professional experience who has served honorably in the Commands of Katsina, Jigawa, Delta, Kaduna, and Nasarawa State.
He was redeployed to Kaduna after serving in a variety of roles at the Jigawa State Command, thus he is well-versed in the security architecture of the state. He served as the State Commandant of Nasarawa State until his most recent redeployment.
He graduated from Bayero University in Kano with a degree in business administration and is a member of the Associate Corporate Institute of Administration. Additionally, he has participated in a number of workshops and seminars both inside and outside of Nigeria, which has improved his knowledge of administration and security management.
The Nigerian Correctional Staff College in Kaduna is where Commandant Ingawa completed his advanced coursework after completing his professional basic training at the Correctional Service Training School in Owerri, Imo State.
He has won multiple awards, including Jigawa State Command’s 2013 Most Punctual Staff Award.
His redeployment to Jigawa State is anticipated to enhance the Command’s ability to manage crises, maintain internal security, and safeguard vital national infrastructure and assets.
With great hope and confidence, the Command welcomes him and knows that his leadership, professionalism, and breadth of experience would greatly advance NSCDC Jigawa State Command and state security as a whole.
