Femi Adesina, the spokesman for President Muhammadu Buhari, has stated that his boss’s character is established regardless of whether he signs the election bill or not.
In November, Buhari received the bill amending the electoral act from the National Assembly.
He has 30 days to decide whether or not to accept it.
Buhari received the electoral act reform bill from the National Assembly for his signature on November 19.

There have been rumors that Buhari will refuse to sign it because of the issue surrounding the inclusion of the direct primary system for political parties.
“In terms of his image for democratic value, that image is already formed,” Adesina said in an interview with Channels Television on Monday. It’s almost like it’s made of concrete.
“You will see that each election under President Buhari has been better than the last.
“The ruling party has lost states, parliamentary seats, and numerous elections under President Buhari.
“It wasn’t always like this. Previously, whichever party was in power won all elections by hook or crook; this is no longer the case under President Buhari.
