The unexpected passing of actress Pat Ugwu has caused the Nollywood industry to enter a new phase of grieving.
According to reports, renowned actor Emeka Okoye announced the actress’s death on Wednesday on his Instagram account. She was 35 years old.
In addition to expressing grief that he would not be able to collaborate with Ugwu once more, Okoye prayed for his fellow coworkers’ safety and long lives.

Based on the funeral plans made public by her family, the late actress will be laid to rest on February 6 and 7, 2025.
