Nkire, in a statement released yesterday in Abuja, urged the APC to get its house in order in order to avoid losing the 2023 election to the opposition.
“Our choice for APC national chairman at the upcoming national convention will make or break our chances of returning to power in 2023.” The APC’s chairman for the 2023 election must be a man or woman who is well-known across the country, a strategist, a fighter, and a winner. Our opponents, the PDP, played the joker when they chose Senator Ayu as their National Chairman; now it’s up to us to play the joker.”
Nkire quoted President Muhammadu Buhari as saying that if the ruling party does not get its act together and choose the right man or woman for the job, it will lose to the opposition PDP.
