With the inauguration of the Aeronautical Meteorological Bulletin in Abuja, the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) plans to significantly improve aircraft services in Nigeria.
The bulletin, which is crucial for flight planning and operations, will assist airlines, pilots, air traffic controllers, and ground services in anticipating and managing weather-related difficulties, according to a statement from NiMet.

According to the release, the bulletin was delivered to Mr. Festus Keyamo, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, at his Abuja office by Prof. Charles Anosike, Director-General, NiMet.
According to NiMet, the aerometeorological bulletin covers topics such as weather alerts and warnings, weather reports from aerodromes, flight path forecasts, meteorological conditions unique to aviation, wind and temperature data, and the effects of weather on operations.
