With an estimated 235,091,156 million inhabitants as of December 30, 2024, Nigeria is now the sixth most populated country in the world, according to figures from Worldometer and the World Population Review.

With 1.457 billion inhabitants, India is the largest country in the world, followed by China with 1.417 billion.

With 346 million, the United States comes in third, followed by Pakistan (253.2 million) and Indonesia (284.6 million), in that order.
