Ondo lawmaker-elect vows not to disappoint constituents

Mr. Chris Ayebusiwa, an Ondo State House of Assembly member-elect, pledged to serve his area well.

In the last state House of Assembly election, Okitipupa Constituency 1 All Progressives Congress candidate Ayebusiwa assured his constituents will not regret voting for him.

In a Sunday statement in Akure, the state capital, the lawmaker-elect made the vow.

“I will improve my constituents’ lives through timely empowerment and quality grassroots engagement. He indicated he will devote a lot of attention to Okitipupa’s social issues.

Ayebusiwa said the recent workshop for the members-elect of the Ondo State House of Assembly in Lagos State was designed to teach them about legislative procedures, particularly legislative powers, ethics, and privileges.

He said the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies and the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung sponsored the two-day introductory training.

“We thank the organisers for exposing us through the core tenets and modus operandi to have a healthy House for moving the state forward, and I promise not to disappoint my people.”

The lawmaker-elect also praised the trainers for taking time to teach attendees.
