NDLEA Intercepts 476kg Of Cannabis, seizes 4,000 Tramadol Tablets In Kano, Adamawa

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has announced that a 34-year-old man was arrested in Kano with 476kg of cannabis.

The NDLEA’s Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, announced the announcement in a statement on Sunday.

Nasiru Abdulrahman, the suspect, was detained last Friday at Kwanar Dan Gora in the state’s Kiru Local Government Area, according to the statement.

According to the statement, anti-narcotics agents also recovered 4,000 Tramadol 225mg tablets from Abdulmiminu Abubakar, a 24-year-old man apprehended in Gidan Madara, Adamawa State’s Mubi North Local Government Area.

The guy was apprehended while delivering drugs on a motorcycle in Bukula, Cameroon Republic, according to the statement.

“He claimed the consignment was given to him by another suspect, Fahad Mohammed, 19.” “Fahad was later apprehended at his residence in Kasuwan Borkono Area of Mubi town in a follow-up operation,” it said.

While commending officers and men of Kano and Adamawa state commands for the arrests and seizures, the NDLEA Chairman/Chief Executive, Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (rtd), charged them and their colleagues across the country to intensify the offensive action against all drug cartels in every part of Nigeria.
