NBBF President, Mark Igoche, leads basketball stakeholders to Jos as elder Gumut journeys home

Mr. Igoche Mark, President of the Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF), paid his final respects to late Elder Abraham Useni Dashon Gumut, father of Mr. Stanley Gumut, NBBF players’ representative, in Jos, Plateau state, over the weekend before he was laid to rest.

Mark, who headed a formidable delegation that included NBBF board members, club owners, and basketball players, paid respect to the late septuagenarian, whose life was reported to have influenced many lives by basketball stakeholders.

The NBBF President expressed his condolences to Mrs.Abraham Dashon Gumut, the widow, and prayed for God’s consolation to the bereaved family.

Mr. Stanely Gumut, speaking on behalf of the family, thanks to the Basketball family for its support at this difficult time.

Elder Gumut, who had been ailing for a short time, died last week.

He was 70 years old.
