The Nasrul-lahi-li Fathi Society of Nigeria has unveiled ambitious technology and renewable energy initiatives aimed at empowering young people across Nigeria, West Africa, and the United Kingdom.
This move aligns with NASFAT’s core mission to equip youth with essential industry skills.
The Program Coordinator of NASFAT’s ACTIVATE initiative, Hammed Ajiroba, announced on Monday that following the successful launch of its technology cohorts, the organisation is set to introduce a renewable energy program.
This new educational venture will be implemented in several Nigerian cities, as well as Accra and Abidjan, focusing on training in the crucial sector of renewable energy.
Meanwhile, the Economic Empowerment Committee Secretary of NASFAT, Noibi Kazeem, expressed enthusiasm about the initiative.
Kazeem said, “Our technology cohorts have set a benchmark for excellence and have showcased the tremendous potential of our participants. Building on this success, we are excited to offer specialized training in renewable energy, starting with a focus on solar power and inverter technology.”
The renewable energy training program aims to provide participants with practical skills in designing, installing, and maintaining solar power systems and inverters.
NASFAT noted that Tto enhance the learning experience, ACTIVATE plans to incorporate workshops, hands-on projects, and expert-led seminars.
The program also offers scholarships and flexible payment options to ensure accessibility.
“Our commitment is to make these life-changing opportunities available to as many qualified individuals as possible,” Ajiroba stated.
