Momodu: Southern Candidate Who Can Face Tinubu in 2027 Isn’t Willing to Struggle

The only candidate who can compete with President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election, according to former presidential contender Chief Dele Momodu, is former President Goodluck Jonathan.
Jonathan, he added, would probably not want to become involved in such political activities again.
Chief Momodu said Jonathan has shown satisfaction with his accomplishments thus far because he never imagined reaching such political heights.

The leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) went on to say that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar is the only other candidate Tinubu and his team are scared of in the 2027 election, which is why they have been politically targeting him in an effort to demarket him before the election.
Momodu reportedly made the submission in an interview with New Telegraph, where he discussed the Nigerian political climate at the moment and the prospects for the 2027 election.

“No candidate from the South, such as Goodluck Jonathan, can challenge Tinubu,” he stated. He wouldn’t want to put himself under unnecessary stress, though.

It is evident that he is a man of contentment and an intellectual who feels that he never anticipated to reach that level, no matter where he travels. Therefore, he might find it challenging. Since Atiku Abubakar is the only man they fear, they are already demarketing him beforehand.
