Due to alleged slander, fasting rising star Prime Boy, whose real name is Owodunni Ibrahim, has filed a lawsuit against Abosede Adeyemo, the mother of his late best buddy Mohbad.
According to reports, Prime Boy posted the court filing at the Lagos State High Court in Ikeja on his Instagram feed on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.
On March 28, 2024, Prime Boy filed a lawsuit against Abosede for allegedly uttering defamatory and libellous comments about him in a video interview.
The February 12, 2025 paper claims that Abosede’s remarks, which were published in a number of news outlets, were intended to discredit him in the public’s eyes.
Additionally, Prime Boy asserted that Mohbad’s mother is responsible for ₦50 million in damages due to the malicious, false, libellous, and harmful remarks made about him.
Joseph Aloba, the late Mohbad’s father, has voiced concerns about the police officers looking into his son’s death in other stories.
According to reports, Mohbad’s father has persisted in fighting for justice for his late son, who went away over a year and five months ago.
Joseph stated in an interview with BBC Pidgin on Wednesday that the police requested that he disregard the demand for justice and bury his son.
Stressing that he has a right to know the facts of his son’s death, Mohbad’s father urged the authorities to take up the case.
