On Wednesday night, a mob in Ibadan’s Sango neighborhood set fire to two suspected armed robbers.
According to an eyewitness, the suspects who arrived on a motorcycle were set ablaze around 10:20 p.m. after attacking a local resident.

According to reports, the Sango-Eleyele road has recently become a hotspot for armed robbers in the state.
The remains of the suspects were still on the floor when our correspondent visited the scene of the incident on Thursday.

“We suddenly heard a loud voice of a woman who happened to be the victim of the suspects,” a resident who requested anonymity said. Their bodies are on the floor, as you can see. On this axis, there are a lot of armed robbers.”
When contacted, Adewale Osifeso, the Public Relations Officer for the Oyo State Police Command, said the command would inform the public as soon as possible.
