Missing BRT Passenger, Oluwabamise Ayanwola Discovered Dead

The death of a female citizen, Oluwabamise Ayanwola, has been confirmed by the Lagos State Police Command.

On February 26, a 22-year-old woman went missing after boarding a BRT bus.

According to Police spokesman Adekunle Ajisebutu, her body was discovered on Carter Bridge by the Ogogoro community on Lagos Island.

The body has been taken to the Mainland Hospital’s Yaba morgue for autopsy.

The bereaved family has been contacted, and the body has been identified, according to Ajisebutu.

Abiodun Alabi, the Commissioner of Police, expressed his sadness and assured that the detectives working on the case would find the killers.

“We’re getting closer to catching the criminals. We are confident that the suspects will be apprehended and brought to justice for this murder as soon as possible.
