Workers in the healthcare industry are currently demonstrating in the Federal Capital Territory. They have issued a stern warning that they will begin an indefinite strike at midnight tonight if the Federal Government does not address their complaints.

It has been reported that the Joint Health Workers Union is the organization that these committed professionals belong to.

They are requesting that the hazard allowances be paid immediately, as well as a revision of the Consolidated Health Salary Structure so that it is aligned with the Consolidated Medical Salary Structure.
