The Lagos State Government charged 38-year-old Afeez Gbadamosi with sexually abusing his two underage sons, who are between the ages of three and seven, at the Ikeja Sexual Offenses and Domestic Violence court on Tuesday.

The state has chosen to prosecute Gbadamosi on four charges of indecent behavior and sexual assault.

The event happened somewhere between 2021 and 2022, according to state prosecutor Abimbola Abolade, who testified in court.

Iyanamuda area of Agric in Ikorodu, Lagos State, is where the molestation occurred, according to her.

Abolade reported to Justice Abiola Sholadoye that the defendant had put his finger in the boys’ anus and sexually abused them.

She further claimed that Gbadamosi forced them to see him engage in sexual activity with his wife, touched their genitalia indecently, and pushed their buttocks.

The prosecutor claimed that the offenses violated Lagos State’s 2015 Criminal Law Sections 261 and 264.

The defendant did, however, enter a not guilty plea to the allegations.

O.O. Oladipupo, the defendant’s attorney, pleaded with the judge to give her client liberal bail.

However, before the case was adjourned, Justice Sholadoye issued an order remanding the defendant to the Ikoyi Custodial Center until he could fulfill his bond requirements.

The trial was postponed to November 20, 2023 by her.
