Kylian Mbappe, a wanted striker, announced on Tuesday that he will finish the current season with Paris Saint-Germain, after which he will become a free agent.
In an interview with CNN, the brilliant 23-year-old striker was asked if he would be joining Real Madrid anytime soon, and he had a sharp response.
“Not in January,” Mbappe said, referring to a bid of 180 million euros ($209 million) made by Madrid in July.

PSG had recently signed Lionel Messi from Barcelona, but had turned down a lucrative offer from Real Madrid.
Madrid are expected to make another move once the transfer market reopens.
Mbappe threw cold water on that a day after receiving Globe Soccer’s “Best Men’s Player of the Year” award at a ceremony in Dubai’s Burj Khalifa.
“I’m at PSG and I’m content.” He stated, “I’ll finish the season here 100 percent.”
“I’ll give everything to win the Champions League, the championship, and the French Cup,” he added before turning his attention back to Madrid, whom his team will face in the Champions League’s next round.
“Beating Real Madrid in February and March is the main thing on my mind,” he said.
Mbappe stated that he has no regrets about announcing his desire to join Real Madrid.
He explained, “I was being honest, saying what was in my heart.”
Mbappe confirmed in October that he had told Paris Saint-Germain in July that he wanted to leave the club.

As the clock ticks down on his contract, the French World Cup winner has declined an extension.
In 2017, Mbappe moved to PSG from Monaco for a fee of 180 million euros.
