Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, and former Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom were hosted by Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde on Wednesday.

It was claimed that after the death of his older brother, Sunday Makinde, the governor of Oyo State received a sympathy visit from the leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Remember Sunday Makinde? She died on Friday, January 24, 2025, at the age of 65.
According to reports, Wike showed up at Makinde’s home on Wednesday afternoon in the state capital of Ibadan’s Ikolaba Government Reservation Area.
Senators Sandy Onor, Philip Aduda, Olaka Nwogu, Mao Ohuabunwa, Rt. Hon. Chibudom Nwuche, and former Governor Okezie Ikpeazu were among the other dignitaries who paid a call to the Oyo Governor.
