An unnamed bank was seen in a video on the internet concealing fresh Naira bills in their vault.
According to reports, a fight has been going on to get the newly redesigned N1000, N500, and N200 notes across the nation since last week among bank customers, traders, marketers, and the general public.
Following a deadline set by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) for replacing the old denominations with new ones, citizens experienced unimaginable hardship.
Despite Nigerians’ complaints, a viral video that was released on Saturday night showed how the new notes were concealed in an undisclosed bank by older notes.
Bank employees could be seen in the video removing some old notes from the vault to reveal the hidden new notes that were stacked behind them.

According to reports, the video sparked a torrent of comments on social media as netizens denounced the unnamed bank’s behavior.

On Instagram, indulgecloset posed the question: “Why are we so cruel to ourselves? Is Buhari responsible for concealing these new notes?
tonero1979: “The only reason I concurred with Buhari that change must start with the people is for this reason. Nigerians’ biggest issue is a lack of love and greed.
The deposit money banks, not the CBN, have always been the issue, according to abiebhodeemmanuel. Yes, the CBN sent less than usual, but that should have been sufficient in most cases, barring the greed of bank managers who run the left, right, and center pos points as well as domestic politicians who wanted to benefit from cuts and interest on delivery.
So, rather than the government, the banks are to blame for the chaos, said Abbyameh.
Mazi Buchi Official Why are Nigerians happy to see other people suffer while they have the new notes? Are they going to spend this money? They should face severe repercussions in order for others to learn their lesson.
I am Chinyere Alor, and I say that if there are no rules and regulations, bad things will happen to your company or school if the CEO or principal do not take the necessary action. Government has destroyed Nigeria; there are no longer any rules or regulations; people are just trying to survive.
“Everyone na kuku tiff for Nigeria, plus the madam wey carry phone light dey inspect,” according to thefoodnetworknig2. You all have hidden notes, and God will weep for you because you’re making life difficult for Nigerians.

Babzz: “Remember that this is only one of the many peculiar behaviors from most bank managers, causing Compatriots to be so tense, angry, and frustrated, and at the end of the day, we blame the devil……. Believe Me, the people of this country must be prepared to conduct themselves properly before it can move in the right direction. Hopefully, the country develops.
