Labour Party’s Vision: Aguocha Advocates Coalition to Overthrow APC in 2027

Obi Aguocha, a member of the House of Representatives, has reiterated his support for the party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and Abia State Governor Alex Otti.
In a New Telegraph interview, Aguocha stated that he has complete faith in the Labour Party and has no plans to leave it.
Nonetheless, he pointed out that Peter Obi is free to discuss with whomever his intention to join the Labour Party in overthrowing the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led government in 2027.

“Peter Obi has the right to speak to as many people as he likes in order to persuade them to join the Labour Party, to overthrow the current government, and to start over in Nigeria,” Aguocha stated.

The congressman asserted that to defeat the incumbent party in the upcoming general election, a coalition must be established, despite the fact that APC members are dissatisfied.

“I have connections and ideological alignment with Peter Obi, Alex Otti, and the Labour Party platform,” he stated. We have evolved into a political platform.

Five members leaving the Labour Party does not make it any less or more significant than the fact that Nigerians will no longer look to it for hope.

“Nobody is content. Not even members of the APC are pleased with the state of affairs in Nigeria at the moment.

Since the APC was a coalition that supported an ideology that wrested power from the PDP, why not establish one to ensure that we have proper measures in place?

Therefore, I don’t think it’s exceptional if the Labour Party joins forces with other Nigerians who share their values and are resolute in their will to act morally for once in Nigeria.
