Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje has hailed his predecessor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, as one of the city’s architects.
Ganduje claimed that he and Kwankwaso are the architects behind Kano’s transformation into a modern city.

The Governor made the remarks during a meeting with All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders in the state yesterday.
The Governor said he and Kwankwaso did their best to lift the State while speaking at the State’s Government House.
He went on to say that as governor, he would keep going in the same direction.
“Former Governor, Senator Rabi’u Musa, and I are the architects of modern Kano,” Ganduje says.

“Those responsible for the new face of Kano State are Kwankwaso and Ganduje.
“We (Kwankwaso and Ganduje) have done our best in lifting the face of Kano State. And I will continue to maintain this as a governor of the state.”
