The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the results of candidates who took the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) between July 19 and July 22 at more than 720 computer-based testing (CBT) locations throughout the country.
Dr. Fabian Benjamin, the spokesperson for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), made this revelation known to newsmen in Abuja on Friday.
Benjamin urged each concerned applicant to verify his or her results by texting the word UTMERESULT to 55019 using the GSM number that was used to register for the UTME and get a profile code from the board.
They would be notified as soon as the findings were received, according to him, provided they followed the directions provided to verify the results.

He went on to say that the findings for the following days will be disclosed on a daily basis.
“The Board observes with pleasure that the use of NIN (National Identification Number) has assisted in the reduction of examination malpractices, since the 2021 UTME reported the lowest incidence of irregularities since the beginning of computer-based tests.
“The Board, on the other hand, will continue to analyze all CCTV video and other technical gadgets in order to discover any potential examination malpractice.
According to him, “just a small number of findings are being withheld for additional examination.”
As a result, he stated that the board would not hesitate to remove the results of any applicant who was later proven to have engaged in any sort of examination misconduct after the results were announced.
