After allegedly killing his girlfriend, Elohor Oniorosa, on Christmas Eve in what was suspected to be a ritual killing in Benin-city, the Edo State capital, a suspect simply identified as Osas is on the run.
According to Bello Kontongs, the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), the deceased’s father, William Oniorosa, reported the case to the police, and an investigation is underway to apprehend the suspect. The PPRO identified the suspect as Osa, the deceased’s boyfriend, and said the suspect’s surname was unknown.
“Investigation is ongoing while the suspect is on the run,” he said. On December 24, 2021, the incident occurs.”

“The suspected ‘Yahoo Boy’ is said to have recently returned from Ghana a week ago and allegedly slaughtered his girlfriend in Benin-city,” according to the information.
According to reports, the incident occurred in the state’s Egor Local Government Area, which is located on the outskirts of Benin, where the suspect is also from.
