Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, has responded to the alleged leaked audio with Peter Obi by stating that he has never supported or campaigned for any political party in Nigeria. The audio in question was allegedly recorded during their conversation.

This follows a purported audio recording of a conversation between the preacher and the presidential candidate for the Labour Party, Peter Obi, that recently went viral.

During his sermon at the headquarters of the church, David Oyedepo disclosed that during the most recent general elections, he offered prayer and counsel to all of the political parties, but that he never solicited votes for any of them, contrary to what is claimed in the voice recording.

“I don’t speak what people want to hear; I speak what God tells me to say,” she said. “I speak what God tells me to say.” Because of this, there are some people who hold a lot of ill will toward me. Nobody in this world has ever instructed me on what I should say. No.

“I have never spoken on anyone else’s behalf or campaigned for anyone else, and I will not do either of those things until I go to heaven, Amen. There is not a political party in this country that has not sought me out for counsel and prayer at some point.

“I gave them some advice, but they didn’t take it. Those who decided to take it will see the results of doing so. Those who responded with a negative answer are moving forward with it (laughs). According to what he said, “If you still come again, I will still tell you, it doesn’t change.”

“Endless forgeries from APC,” according to Obi’s campaign team, who are denying the authenticity of a leaked audio with Oyedepo.

The Obi-Datti Presidential Campaign Council has denied the authenticity of an audio tape that allegedly features Bishop David Oyedepo, the founding pastor of Living Faith Church Worldwide (Winners’ Chapel), and their presidential candidate, Peter Obi. The tape was allegedly leaked.

The recording, which is said to have been leaked on the evening of April 1, 2023, allegedly shows Obi and Oyedepo talking about how to get Christian voters out to the polls in regions of the North-Central states like Kwara, Kogi, and Niger. These regions are located in the South-West region of the country.

The head of media and communications for the Obi-Datti Presidential Campaign Council, Diran Onifade, referred to the hacked audio conversation as a typical example of the numerous fabrications that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is notorious for. He made this statement in reference to the leaked audio conversation.

On a recently leaked audio, Obi’s Campaign Team Discusses Oyedepo.

It has been more than a month since the All Progressives Congress successfully carried out their strategy to win the election, but it appears that the party’s obsession with seizing and keeping power through corrupt means has not gone away.

“While we are toeing the constitutional path to retrieve our mandate, those who have truncated the wishes of the majority of Nigerians have resorted to mischief and endless subterfuge to continue to hold on to what they know does not belong to them. While we are toeing the constitutional path, those who have truncated the wishes of the majority of Nigerians have used mischief and endless subterfuge.

“From the public display of shame in Port Harcourt to the drama that unfolded aboard the Ibom Air aircraft, both of which were fabricated by them, they have now moved on to the dissemination of a thoroughly fake audio file with the intention of promoting religious tension throughout the nation.

“All of these are intended to serve no other purpose than egregious mischief with the goal of demarketing Peter Obi,” the source said. If the objective was to raise questions about someone’s credibility, the strategy was a dismal failure.

“Peter Obi is the only presidential candidate who has been on record as urging the Nigerian electorate not to vote for him based on the basis of religion or tribe for a significant amount of time,” the record states.

“We will therefore like to advise our beloved Nigerian people to remain focused on the task of taking back the mandate we know was freely given to Peter Obi and Datti Baba-Ahmed through legitimate means. “We will therefore like to advise our beloved Nigerian people to remain focused on taking back the mandate”

“That is more important than to expect those who ran for election on forged credentials and even fake Bishops to stop pretending to be something they are not. They are unable to stop engaging in fraudulent activity because it is intrinsic to who they are.
