A Premium Motor Spirit-laden tanker exploded at a Mobil Filling Station on 71 Agege Motor Road, Alakara, Mushin, Lagos, on Wednesday.
The fire, which started around 1 p.m. when the tanker was discharging its contents at the gas station, destroyed a three-story residential building.
However, the fuel station was destroyed, and the fire spread to a residential building near the Alakara Police Station in Mushin, Lagos.

Ibrahim Farinloye, the Lagos Territorial Office Coordinator for the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), confirmed that no one was killed or injured.
“The fire has been successfully contained.” “Efforts are still underway to save the three-story structure from being completely consumed,” he explained.
