In Ibadan, Tenant allegedly stabs landlord to death over cleaning of compound

According to reports, a renter living on Agbon Street in Ibadan’s Iyana Church neighborhood stabbed his landlord to death.

According to our source, the tenant, who is said to be a Hausa man from the country’s north, stabbed his landlord after the two got into an argument.

According to sources, there was a dispute between the renter and his landlord about the cleanliness of the complex on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, the renter allegedly stabbed his landlord to death during an altercation.

As of the time of reporting this article, residents reported the accused murderer had absconded from the region to escape being lynched.

However, it was learned that security personnel had been sent to the area in order to avoid a breakdown in law and order.

Attempts to gain a response from the state Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, Adewale Osifeso, were unsuccessful.

He has yet to answer to the SMS that was sent to him inquiring about his thoughts on the situation.
