In Borno, ISWAP fighters, families surrendered

According to the Nigerian Army, Islamic State West Africa Province fighters and their families have surrendered to troops from the 25 Task Force Brigade in Damboa, Borno State.

The Army said the fighters and their families numbered 104, with 22 males, 27 females, and 55 children, in a brief statement on Monday.

“On Saturday, February 5, 2022, 104 ISWAP fighters and their families surrendered to troops of the 25 Task Force Brigade in Damboa, Borno State, consisting of 22 males, 27 females, and 55 children,” according to the statement.
