Five suspected kidnappers and 46 other suspects have been paraded by the Borno State Police Command for various crimes in the state.
Rape, homicide, robbery, vandalism, fraud, and forgery were all charges against the suspects.
Mr Abdu Umar, the Commissioner of Police, said five of the 51 suspects were arrested for kidnapping in separate operations while being paraded to the media on Friday.

Following a tip-off, Buba Iggi and Adamu Buba, the suspected kidnappers, were apprehended in a bush in Askira Uba by police in collaboration with hunters.
Two suspects for rape, three for robbery, four for culpable homicide, two for vandalism, and eight for inciting disturbances were among those paraded on Friday.
Five people were arrested for Indian hemp possession, four for extortion, fourteen for theft, two for cheating, and one each for fraud and forgery.
Two more suspected kidnappers, Abdullahi Abubakar, Buje Jalo, and Buba Manu, were apprehended with the help of hunters in the Hawul and Gombi LGAs.

Two people were rescued from the suspected kidnappers, according to Umar, and the suspects have confessed to the crime.
He went on to say that efforts are being stepped up to apprehend their fleeing accomplices.
