‘I have been guiding quietly on the way to suppress menace’
Has solicited the aid of Nigerians for the Federal Government to efficiently handle insurgency, banditry and finish terrorism from the nation.

He revealed he was guiding the Federal Government softly on how to suppress insecurity in Nigeria.

On if the politicians were efficiently playing their function to finish bitterness, he explained there were a few things that they needed to put, including: “If they agree to sit down and think overall, I think success is going to be gained.”

He pointed out that it had been important to rally across the soldiers and other security representatives, encourage them and inform them that Nigerians were supporting them, stressing that they need to be offered with all they need, emphasize that this was their country and they have no better state than Nigeria.

Babangida said the Nigerian army needed sophisticated and modern weapons to fight the insurgents and bandits, insisting: “They also have to be trained on how to use modern weapons rather than simply to provide them weapons.”

On whether he’d advised the Federal Government on how best to stop insecurity in the nation, which has crept into Niger State, he explained: “We offer guidance as we could, but we do not make noise about it. We do not always declare what we state.

“We ought to unite and encourage those in power since we are all working towards attaining the exact same aim. Most importantly, we want a harmonious relationship between the leaders and taxpayers.”

Citing the event of this civil war for three decades, ” he said every authority had its expertise on bitterness, but when Nigerians combine along with the people today support the authorities, it might do its very best.

Speaking further, he said that throughout the war, the Federal Government purchased what was needed and those who fought were forced to realize that this nation was the very best for them.

“It isn’t just Nigeria that’s confronting insecurity, many nations have this type of difficulty and a few had it for ten decades, but through joint effort, they defeated. I think we could escape this particular challenge.

“Both people and citizens in authorities are attempting, but we ought to be aware it is not a simple undertaking,” he worried
